Getting There:

The British International School of Washington is located in northwest Washington, D.C., close to Georgetown and easily accessible from across the city and surrounding areas.

By Metro: The closest Metro stations are Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle, both on the Red Line. From either station, the school is a short taxi or rideshare journey away.

By Train: Amtrak and regional rail services arrive at Washington Union Station, approximately 20–30 minutes from the school by car, depending on traffic.

By Air: Washington, D.C. is served by three major airports:

  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) – approximately 20–30 minutes by car
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) – approximately 40–50 minutes by car
  • Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) – approximately 45–60 minutes by car
